Long before I got interested in photography as a hobby I used to cross stitch. During those years I made many things but as I got older---and so did my eyes--and we moved to a house with little wall space, I have not done much. I thought I'd share some of my projects. The last one was done as a round robin, in which I did the top part and then it was sent to 4 friends and they added a piece. I added to theirs also. Each one had a theme. Mine was hearts. The other two are ones that I did over the years and I still enjoy. The round robin one I paid to have matted and framed but the other two my husband did.
Ahh---I used to cross stitch, too, until MY eyes said "ENOUGH!" Now I just admire other peoples' work...

ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful! I love cross stich :)
ReplyDeleteMy cross stitch never turned out as pretty as these. . . so my days of doing this came to an end much quicker than yours did!
ReplyDeleteWow, looks like an incredible amount of work! I love how you framed them too!
ReplyDeleteThose are beautiful. The last time I cross stitched I was in high school (many many....years ago!). Excellent for this week's photo challenge theme.
ReplyDeleteI used to cross stitch too - beautiful projects!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful pieces. The round robin idea is so cleaver.
ReplyDeleteThose are beautiful! I don't think I'd have the patience!

ReplyDeleteThey all look great! As I get older, I just get stronger glasses so I can keep stitchin'...
