I found this patch of fungus growing out where our dogs run. It was really neat looking . Unfortunately it didn't last long in this heat. The next day it was an ugly black spot.

    I'm in the middle of cooking dinner and all I can think is I hope these were eatable - obviously not. Neat fungus.

    Such a pretty, creamy, color! I wonder if they'd be a good addition to a compost pile?
