One of the places we like to go in the evenings is a little river town called New Richmond. Every evening people go and feed the geese. These little beggars come right up to your car windows to see if you have any treats for them. There is quite a flock of them and they wander about as if they own the town, congregating in the middle of the street to do what looks like gossip!! The white and grey geese seem to really dislike the Canada geese that come in and hiss and ran them to scare them away. There are also some ducks that scramble in quickly to snag a piece of bread or cracker and then run quickly away. I finally remembered to take my camera with me the other night to get some shots.
The second shot reminds me of the saying about keeping your ducks in a row.

Gorgeous pictures!
ReplyDeleteThe shot of the 3 geese is AWESOME!!! Wonderful POV and comp, and the lighting was perfect.
ReplyDeleteWe have resident Canadian Geese here on the golf course and as soon as they remotely catch wind that you are approaching them (I think they are camera shy) - they take off. These are very clear and crisp shots - and #2 is definitely getting their ducks in a row.
ReplyDeleteI love that 3rd picture..even though I am not a fan of Geese. They're so mean. And the colors in that 1st one are great.
ReplyDeleteLOVE that picture of them all lined up!
ReplyDeleteGreat photo's! I love the second one!
ReplyDeleteThat is too cute!! Love that second one - they look like they are all lined up for food!
ReplyDeleteThese are all so fun. I love the third one with the goose looking straight on. Such an interesting angle. Like your ducks in a row comment, too. :)
